LOVE CHIC LIVING????

Love chic living??? then you would love my wallpaper upcycling idea with a twist.
Let me put it out there, I am a fan of pinterest and love finding homes and interiors inspirations on there. At custard and mustard craft, that's where we get our #craftinspiration.

Although, we are not into interior décor yet, I will always look out for great ideas on this topic and share because we aspire to go into interior décor in the near furture #watchthisspace lol. So today I want to show you a few of my favourite ideas and hopefully give you some inspiration for how you can use your favourite wallpaper in your nursery or home.

First of all, wallpaper isn’t just for walls you know. A great way to add unique interest to your walls is to look out for some old drawers in different sizes, insert your favourite left over wallpaper and arrange on the wall for a quirky wall display or storage for your treasures. Great for a kid’s room!

You can also (to any degree) add a small piece inside the wardrobe itself or going all the way as in this image below and add wallpaper to great effect on every area. Coordinating with the wall colour like this will really give a unified look (in my opinion).

So do you feel inspired? because I do :)

Twin Nursery Ideas!!!!!

Thinking about nursery themes for twins? Preparing your nursery for not one, but TWO newborn babies can prove to be an overwhelming task given the number of options you can find in baby furniture, crib bedding, and wall décor on the market today. One of the best ways to start on the design of your twin's room is to research dependable baby furniture and accessory brands you know before making any purchases (try @custardandmustardcraft #wink). Next, choose a furniture collection that uses the nursery space in the best way possible, paying close attention to windows and storage closets (we can help you with that). Once the main baby furniture is put in place, it's time to move on to the decorative aspect of your twins' nursery and incorporate your themed décor ideas! I loved looking through these gorgeous nurseries, decorated and arranged for two tiny occupants. A craft inspiration for custard&mustard craft (interior décor nursery design coming soon). The Transition from Crib to Toddler Bed

This is my current situation as my girls are only 12months and are already attempting to make a jailbreak. This is so scary and I know its also scary for new mums and in order to avoid any domestic accident we tend to rush to switch up the beds. In my opinion, don't rush right out and buy a new bed the day your toddler first climbs out of the crib. He or she may not be ready to move to a new bed, and it may not be safe for him or her to be up and about during the night when everyone else is asleep. Buy yourself some time by lowering the crib mattress as far as possible, so the side rails are relatively higher and more difficult to climb over or buy a convertible crib that turns into a toddler bed with the removal of the front panel, this can make the change seem less drastic to a toddler. This is what we offer at Custard and Mustard Craft, making easy to transition for your toddler. Another reason parents make the switch to a toddler bed is the impending arriv...

choosing nursery furniture

Having a baby is such an exciting time, but it is a long 9 months waiting for your little bundle of joy to arrive.  In that time however there is lots to prepare - baby names, baby groups, work and most importantly the nursery !  Looking for your dream nursery suddenly makes everything seem a lot more real.  I waited until the last possible minute before buying cot beds and changer for my twin girls (I wish I'd launched this blog/website before!), because there are lots of choices out there so a bit of preparation will hopefully make the decisions a bit easier! Firstly, there is the decision as to whether or not to buy a moses basket.  I did not buy one firstly because I felt a cot bed and a moses basket in the same space was going to cloak the nursery and would not have fitted well and I felt that my new born babies would outgrow it fast! Don't get me wrong, a moses basket is great as it is portable and can be used in your own bedroom during the...
